PALS Multiplicators worked with local stakeholders to analyse the situation at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Gwagwalada and identified key challenges in the existing referral system.
To foster improvements, they organised a round table with the PHC team, community leaders, and representatives of local groups. Together, they identified challenges and developed practical solutions for faster and more reliable referrals of patients to the nearest hospital.
The activity strengthened interprofessional communication and trust between the health facility and the community.
